Sobre Mí

I graduated from the University of New Brunswick, where I completed a Bachelor of Philosophy in Interdisciplinary Leadership Studies (more commonly referred to as a degree in Leadership), and a degree in Science with a major in Biology.

I recently completed an internship funded by the Canadian International Development Agency. I completed 2 months of training with the Canadian Community Economic Development Network (CCEDNet) and then worked in Lima, Peru, at COPEME, an organization that networks those involved in micro and small enterprises. Note: COPEME stands for the Consorcio de Organizaciones al Promocion al Desarollo des las Micros y Pequeñas Empresas (consortium of organizations for the promotion of development of micro and small enterprises). I was working on gender and youth initiatives within the organization, mainly with small, partner NGOs.

I am now working for the YMCA, where I work in employment issues, and am actively involved in their international committee, which coordinates their international development work across the world.

I am pursuing a career in international development. I am passionate about community development, gender, youth, poverty, health, and education, to name a few.
