Violet is a 26 year old graduate of United States International University-Africa having taken a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and concentration in Public Relations.She holds a minor degree in Spanish.

Violet has received numerous trainings in Project Management,fundraising,BCC and HIV and AIDS and currently working full time with Baptist AIDS Response Agency in Africa (BARA-A) as External Relations and Resource Mobilization Officer.

Violet's core responsibilities are to: develop & Implement an external & resource development strategy for the organization by setting & achieving ambitious & realistic targets;increase income from private,institutional and governmental donors including charitable trusts,foundations and the corporate sector;Research,develop and build strong relationships with donors;research and write detailed proposals for specific projects,ensuring such documents are of highest quality;ensure up to date website clearly reachable and attractive to prospective donors.

BARA-A is a Christian development NGO working in the areas of Health and Poverty eradication in Kenya, Sudan and Central Africa Republic.BARA-A is a PEPHAR funded NGO through the NPI Initiative, working in partnerships with CDC, CHF International among other NGOs to provide CT services and to promote Behavior Change Programs among Youths, Young Adults and Adults striving for a HIV free generation and improved quality of life for those infected and affected by HIV and AIDS. BARA-A is currently implementing a Gender Based Program as well.
