I feel so lucky to have found this site, there are so many issues that I feel passionate about here and I have been enjoying the interaction I've had with a few of you.

A bit about me for those who are wondering.

I run a sundeck building company in Surrey BC, we serve all of Vancouver BC and the Lower Mainland. Our main services are deck repair, new sundecks, deck renovations, waterproofing, vinyl, patios, and aluminum railings. We pride ourselves on doing a good job and treating our customers well. We are so lucky to have lived and worked in Vancouver for the past 30 years and we try to bring a spirit of hard work and positive attitude to our deck building business every day. We treat both our residential and commercial clients like gold, because we believe that how you do business, and how you treat people is so important.

I know it seems strange, but decks, sundecks, and patios are my passion and have been for as long as I can remember. It's one of those things that most people don't really think about. They sit outside on their back patio sipping their martini, enjoying the outdoors and maybe even having a barbecue with the family. All of this is made possible by the sturdy and reliable deck that's been built for them, and it's with this in mind: Family, enjoyment, outdoors, barbecues... that we work hard every day to give people the enjoyment they deserve.

One thing I have noticed as of late is that more and more people are watching HGTV and getting lots of interesting and exciting ideas for how they want to organize their outdoor living space. It used to be that people wanted us to do all of the creative work, but now people have a specific design, style, type of wood, or even type of waterproofing (like duradek) that they want to use. We think this is wonderful and highly encourage it!.
