About me
Dr. John Chittick (Harvard University, Ed.D.) has been Executive Director of the international non-profit organization TeenAIDS-PeerCorps since 1992. He has led the first ever Global AIDS Prevention Walk to educate teens in 86 countries to date, with more added each year. TeenAIDS believes it is “the human right of every maturing adolescent to have complete and honest access to medically accurate prevention education,” and is now the first organization in the nation to promote teen access to the new at home oral swab “saliva” tests. Dr. John (as he is known to teens worldwide) argues that censorship of the biological facts leads to more HIV and premature death by AIDS. He is a volunteer and he encourages youth to join him on the streets of the world as PeerCorps volunteers to help save their generation from HIV/AIDS. He speaks for free to all youth wherever they are and whenever funding allows. TeenAIDS website is: www.teenaids.org (the oldest on the internet for teens and HIV/AIDS since 1994). The website sponsors a Teen Advice Column, ask Dr. John, videos, and features live video webinars webcast globally with an extensive collection of research materials.
