About me
"Every time I see an adult on a bicycle, I no longer despair for the future of the human race."
- H. G. Wells
Hello there! My name is Sunni, and I graduated from the University of King's College in Halifax in 2010, with an HonBA in Journalism and International Development. Since then I've worked for an amazing grassroots environmental NGO called NeighbourWoods in Elora, Ontario, and for Oxfam in Auckland, New Zealand. I find it quite hard to stay still in any one place, but I'm excited to make Toronto home, at least for a while!
I'm passionate about TiGed and the work that they do, and I can't wait to hit the ground running, fight the good fight with this amazing organization, and see what I can learn along the way.
I love spending my time practicing my ukulele, hanging out with my dusty record player, playing around with my old analog camera, and bicycle riding in the countryside with my friends.
Nice to meet you!
