About me
I'm a medical undergraduate who has worked in setting up our local medical student organization in the United Arab Emirates - the Emirates Medical Students' Society and currently we are full member of the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations. Withing the IFMSA and the EMSS exists a Standing Committee (SCORA) which deals with issues pertaining to Reproductive Health including AIDS. We have conducted various event over the past years both locally and internationally with a highlight AIDS awareness campaign in Mumbai, India. Dealing with the issues on a public as well as healthcare perspective enable us to tackle issues which are subject to much taboo. On a personal note my interest in medicine has lead me to be active in spreading awareness on various issues but none have been as challenging a with the topic of HIV/ AIDS.
