About me
I'm 23, I graduated with my Bachelors Degree from New York majoring in International Studies with a minor in Geography. I'm very active and genuinely care about this world we're living in. I am very close with my family. I think that the lyrics of "Where is the love" by Black Eyed Peas represents my ideology on the world, and the words are really powerful. I have seen the movie Beyond Borders and I am compelled. Its depiction of the refugee situation in this world was remarkable, I believe you should see it, whether you like it or not, its a movie that exemplifies reality. I have interned at a non-profit humanitarian organization in NY and I fell in love with the work I was doing. I recently visited the Dominican Republic and I want to move there!! It is a beautiful country and everyone I encountered was so friendly and their way of life is how I would like to live mine. Message me, I would love to talk about cultures everywhere. I'm active in my community working with the homeless, women affected by domestic violence and I am an online mentor/pen pal with a 4th grader helping them read books!
