About me
I'm currently an NGO worker and at the same time a full-time student. Whew! And I'm still keeping my sanity by managing my activism, professional responsibilities and academic work.
I'm currently finishing my Master's in Human Rights in Mahidol University in Thailand. My thesis focuses on the concept and strategies how young people's participation is being integrated into the Philippine government's programs on children and armed conflict.
Im involved in advocacy work (and at the same time managing projects) concerning the issue of child soldiers.
Working together with young people is a source of inspiration, ideas and energy for me. I thought that my interest in youth issues/ and activism would wane and that I have to detach from the sector. But with the current work that I do, dealing with governments and other decision-makers,
working with youth becomes more relevant and needed.

I believe that young people have the right to participate in all aspects of social life. We carry the empowering idealism, creativity, vibrant spirit and undending commitment. All are necessary ingredients to sustain our struggle for social change. Although frustrating, this is my advocacy as a young human rights activist for the past years.
