About me
Currently, I am studying at Katmandu; my native address is Syangja. That's Rural Area of Nepal, and my whole families are living there, grew up in same area. Since early childhood, I had been involved in various humanitarian, child right awareness works such as fundraisings for Junior Red Cross Circle and flood victims; making various radio listener club for discussing local issue (e.g. child rights, child & youth issues). After School level Certificate (SLC), I came to City Area for purpose of my higher study. Today, I am a student of management doing my Bachelors in Business Studies from Tribhuvan University of Kathmandu. As a Youth & Children activist my interests have ranged from Youth participation, Peace & Conflict, Youth politics, Youth volunteerism, Youth & Indigenous.
For the past 3 years I has been involved with Youth Initiative, working in youth development, civic issue, conflict and political affairs among young people. Same time, I was associated with activities regarding civic concerns, Control Arms Campaign, and other research activities. Currently, I am doing research in Indigenous youth situation in Nepal. During this time, I had the opportunity to travel, explore and study various rural areas, settlements, various prevalent issues and the problems faced in each.
Besides these, I have involved and worked directly with informal ethnic youth groups such as TECANETnepal. where we do discuss on the Indigenous people's identies and we do lobby to government to preservation of infringed youth & Child rights, as well as I have involved in the campaigning of indigenous and minorities rights that is being conducted by Nepal Students Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NESFIN) with collaboration of other Indigenous people's organizations and human rights organizations. Apart from it, I am editor of an Ethnic newspaper called TAMU AWAAZ.
