About me

I am a young upcoming lawyer. Currently I am the Kenyan Coordinator for TakingITGlobal facilitating local projects on behalf of TIG and encouraging use of information technology tools by youth in networking,sharing ideas and accessing opportunites locally and globally

Active youth involvement in not only community but also the area of governance inspires me a lot and it amazes seeing the wide levels of potential we have as youths in the field of governance and economic growth.

I have been part of TIG for a while now and I have learnt a lot from the youth connections and sharing of ideas.It has enabled me to be connected to other youths and organisations all over the world and im glad and happy to be part of this team!

Apart from training in youth leadership and community involvement i have been part of global activities; I won the Global Young Social Entrepreneurs’ Competition to participate in the GK3 Forum held in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia from the 11-13 December 2007. I also represented Africa in February 2007 in the UN Water Booklet,'Water Rights and Wrongs: A young people's summary of the United Nations Human Development Report 2006' in the United Kingdom in Buntingford,London http://tigurl.org/zz45j7
