About me
My name is Elizabeth and I am in the eighth grade. Please do not judge me on the basis of my age, though it may show at some moments. My youth is important, for I am part of the future, so now is the time for shaping and learning.
Because I am an American, I often fear that I will be scorned in the eyes of those in other countries, but I am over that. Generalization causes that feeling towards America and towards its people, just as it does towards other countries, cultures, and religions, so I have stopped generalizing things.
The PeaceCorp, GreenPeace, United Nations, Government, teachers, education, current events, culture, history, and language are of my highest interests. School is my favorite place, as is the library.
Since I am considerably young, I really do not have much to tell, but I am hoping to change that. I am now getting involved in a local organization called the Cape Youth Council on Sustainability which helps Cape Cod's(where I live) environment and citizens. Also, I have joined this site, in hope of learning and developing opinions on controversial topics.
Feel free to debate my thoughts all you like. I am ever changing, so what I believe today may change a little next week!!
