About me
My name is Olajide Adekeye. I am a young artist who had eventually participated in the enthronement of democratic governance in my country, Nigeria. I am the second in the family of five, I acquired the basic Education required in Nigeria and attended various conferences and workshops in Nigeria and around the world towards empowering the youth. The last conference I attended was at Switzerland. ISC SYMPOSIUM conference was held annually at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, is the world’s leading neutral platform for critical and constructive debate on issues of global concern. It seeks to promote dialogue crossing the boundaries of cultures, generations and interest groups and also to elaborate student’s mind to know what really belong to them and how the student can play a major role in reversing the system to economic and democratic setting, which was actually achieved. The conference I attended was at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, on May 13- May 16. St. Gallen saw the gathering of different set of students around the world on "Challenges to growth and prosperity lesson of experience and future plan of action" It was a three day affair filled with very interesting and education, leadership and special sessions.
Haven critically assessed and analysed the detail of ISC-SYMPOSIUM and its primary objectives i.e. to have students negotiate a current International political and economic issue within the sessions imitating real International organizations such as the United Nation, European Union, World Trade Organisation etc, and The ISC-SYMPOSIUM is no doubt a better avenue for every young mind who would want to be heard to ventilate his/her views as concerned political and economic matters both nationally and Globally. For information about the event, their website is www.isc-symposium.org .
