ABOUT ME

From childhood, IBIANG has always displayed leadership skills among his peers. This has led to him being appointed a leader of several youth groups in his locality at different times during his childhood. It is therefore not a surprise that as he grew up he developed a passion for youth work. To this end he has participated in, and facilitated youth leadership programs in his country Nigeria. Presently he is the secretary of Youth Initiators Nigeria (YIN). In his capacity as the secretary general of Youth Initiators Nigeria, he has been involved in the planning of several youth programs among which is the hosting of the National Youth Leadership Training Summit in Enugu Nigeria, in 2005, facilitating Peace- Building and HIV/AIDS Training Summit for secondary school students, participating in rural ICT campaign in rural Nigeria, a radio program with Radio Nigeria, workshops and seminars for under-graduates, and training of youths on HIV/AIDS life skills. He has worked in partnership with Alliance Francaise, Society for Family Health, UNICEF, DFID of the UK, the Enugu State Action Committee on AIDS (ENSACA) the Enugu state ministry of science and technology among others. Also, he co-founded Peace Building and health clubs in secondary schools in Enugu Nigeria.
