About me
I have a fouryears’ experience working on HIV/AIDS projects. My involvement in the implementation of HIV/AIDS projects started in 2007 when I was still an undergraduate student at Kyambogo University.
I served as a chairperson and leader of the university peer educators, leading a group of over 100 young people involved in sexual reproductive health and HIV/AIDS sensitization for university students and staff.
After university, I worked as a Volunteer Community Facilitator, HIV/AIDS counselling and guidance at the Uganda Counselling Centre, Kampala-Uganda. In this role, I led a team of community facilitators that built the capacity of community groups to provide psychosocial support to people infected and affected with HIV/AIDS among the marginalized people in the slums of Kampala city. We also provided psycho-social support to Orphans and other vulnerable children.
I am currently appointed at Grameen foundation as a CKW Lead trainer where I am involved in implementing projects and designing effective community programs geared at eliminating poverty among the rural poor through access to agricultural information using mobile phones.
