Presently I am working as an Assistant Secretary, Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC). IBCC was established in 1972 by a Resolution of the Federal Ministry of Education to exchange information among all the Education Boards of Pakistan and coordinate activities of the Boards, achieve fair measure of uniformity of academic, evaluation and curricular standards and to promote curricular and co-curricular activities on Inter Board basis. Another function of great importance of IBCC is to decide and grant equivalence to foreign qualifications with corresponding Pakistani Certificates at the Matriculation and Intermediate levels. IBCC also converts foreign grades into Pakistani marks at SSC/HSSC level. IBCC has also been entrusted the assignment of attestation of certificates and diplomas, issued by the Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education and Boards of Technical Education in Pakistan, for those candidates who want to go abroad for further/higher education and /or for employment purposes.
May 01, 2009 to November 30, 2009, as a Project Manager, PAIMAN Helpline – a joint project of Phonecast (Pvt.) Ltd., John Snow Inc. (JSI) and Pakistan Initiative for Mothers and Newborns (PAIMAN) with following responsibilities:
• Maintaining liaison with partner organizations.
• Preparing and submitting weekly, monthly, bi-annually and annually reports for donors
• Networking with community based organizations and NGOs.
• Training / supervising the junior staff and interns
• Managing day-to-day operations of medical call centers
• Organizing workshops and seminars and preparing their reports
• Meeting with the visitors i.e. national and international media professionals, representatives of national and international NGOs and others
January 2006 to April 30, 2009, Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, Sindh Chapter as a Program Coordinator with following responsibilities:
• Planning, coordinating, organizing, administrating and managing all the activities of Sindh Chapter including financial management.
• Maintaining liaison with HRCP Head office, other Chapters and partner organizations.
• Coordinating with field staff and volunteers.
• Organizing and attending monthly meetings of Sindh Council Members and writing minutes of the meeting and following up the decisions taken by the Sindh Council
• Preparing and submitting monthly, bi-annually and annually chapter reports.
• Drafting press releases for the Secretary General and Vice Chairperson Sindh

• Networking with community based organizations and NGOs.

• Editing the fact-finding reports and other reports prepared by the staff of HRCP Sindh Chapter
• Organizing and attending the protests and demonstrations
• Representing HRCP Sindh Chapter at different platforms i.e. meetings, seminars, workshops, demonstrations etc. of different NGOs
September 1997 – December 2005, National Commission for Maternal and Neonatal Health (NCMNH), as a Deputy Manager with following responsibilities:
• Planning, coordinating and managing the project activities, particularly the advocacy seminars for men and women on Safe Motherhood.
• Identifying the groups / organizations for partnership / collaboration.
• Identifying resource persons / facilitators and utilize them according to their expertise.
• Maintaining liaison with partner organizations.
• Assisting and facilitating in the seminars.
• Coordinating with field staff, community based volunteers and different donors.
• Arranging monthly meetings with staff and volunteers to review progress.
• Preparing and submit periodic activity and financial reports.
• Assisting with and participating in impact assessment of different activities.
