About me
I am a midshipman at the United States Naval Academy, on my way to becoming an officer in the United States Marine Corps. I've from New York, and the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 shook up my whole world. I want to use the opportunities presented to me as a Marine officer to remove the threat of terrorism from our world. In the meantime, I want to make an impact now, not just in the abstract and not 4 years from now. I plan on spending a year abroad in Sudan working with a Catholic missions group to actually impact the mentality that leads to the extremism that tore open my NYC skyline.
