About me
Here to listen and to act. Until those who will live on this planet in the future are respected by those who claim to own it, our species will continue to be hellbent on it's destruction. I hope to study the teachings of non-violent subversive humanists this year, as well as be taught by my children age 13 and 17, their friends, adults who make rules I fight, the voices of the planet's inhabitants that I struggle to listen to because my unearned privileges keep me in comfort so I don't have to face the truth of at what and whose expense I indulge in them. Never gotten along with school and most institutions. I also hope to sleep more this year. I'm a massage therapist, advocate, activist, mother. Right now I'm subverting and transgressing whenever possible, by acting in coalition with others on behalf of youth voice. GLBTQ youth, student and young peoples' Voices, in particular.
