Dr Babalola Faseru is a Medical Doctor and Researcher. He obtained his medical degree at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and Internship at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital. He was Medical Officer at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (NYSC), Oluyoro Catholic Hospital and University of Ibadan Health services respectively before he commenced a residency training in Public Health and Community Medicine at the University College Hospital, Ibadan. He later proceeded for a Masters of Public Health at the University Of Kuopio Finland and also worked as Researcher in Cancer Epidemiology at the National Public Health Institute, Finland. He is a Fellow of WHO International Agency for Research on Cancers (2004/2005). He has also been a WHO/FCA scholar to Uganda(2004), FHI scholar to Ghana and Rotary Foundation Scholar to the United States of America(2003). He is also a scholar of the Society for Research on Nicotine and Tobacco (Arizona USA-2004 and Prague Czech republic-2005). He is Senior Project Manager of West Africa Doctors and Healthcare Professionals Network and Content Manager of WADN website. Member of International Epidemiological Association and International AIDS Society among others. Dr Faseru is a Public Health Physician with special interest in Cancer Epidemiology and Family/Reproductive Health.
