About me
An avid traveler and linguist, Susan is also an entrepreneur, international travel liaison and educational consultant for Taking it Global and has instructed multiple cohorts for TiG's Global Citizenship course.

Susan works with The World Leadership School, La Casa Materna in Nicaragua, The Friends of the Casa Materna board and is also the proprietor of Away 2 Be, a company focused on personal, local and global connections. Susan facilitates conversations and workshops around the world building sustainable relationships to foster global change.

Additionally, Susan spent almost a decade in the classroom, was a facilitator for her school district’s Equity and Diversity Cohort, and consistently used project-based learning and design thinking to develop cultural competency and awareness, leadership and empathy.

Susan is also a yoga instructor in Denver and hosts classes and workshops wherever she goes!
