About me
Jennifer Ehidiamen is a young Poet and Journalist who loves to keep herself excited, challenged and productive, while learning new things and growing through life. "For I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13.
Described as “one of the next generation of communicators”, Jennifer is committed to using the media as an advocacy tool for youth development and empowerment. She does this by raising critical issues affecting today’s youth through her weekly youth column called “Dis Generation” in The Nation newspaper, while using her skills and experience in the media and nonprofit sector to serve in different capacities.
A graduate of Mass Communication from The Nigerian Institute of Journalism in 2008, Jennifer is an Atlas Corps Fellow currently volunteering with One World Youth Project in Washington D.C. USA where she serves as a Program Coordinator.
Jennifer loves poetry, traveling, photography, cooking and writing. Her first book “In Days To Come” was published in 2004 by the Young Poet Society in the U.K. She believes vehemently that God created Youth for a purpose, thus, it is important not to waste it in frivolities.
