I am doing Master of Public Health in Curtin University, Western Australia.
I am a Masters in Sociology from TU and Public Health graduate from Institute of Medicine, currently working in the field of community Health and development.

I have been involved in public health sector of Nepal since 2002 as a government health worker,research assistant,trainer,projector coordinator and so on.....

My tenure in Farwestern district specially Dadeldhura and then in Bajura and Bajhang gave me the real insight into the actuall health system loopholes and limitations.Farwestern exposure has given brief image of real life situations in the high hilly setting.
Similarly, the period of program assistant in International Org.for Migration (IOM) was really good to learn the working system in modern office setting (comparing the GON system; the oldest one).
Most recent work in Pandemic Influenza,for drafting district pandemic preparedness plan, TOT guidelines, and strengthening surveillance system ( Health Desk) was really really a good exposure in learning the comprehensive picture of emerging communicable disease in a resource poor seeting.
Looking ahead for getting wider vision in public health: an international exposure to think globally and act locally. I am doing Master of Public Health in Curtin University, Western Australia.
