About me
Jean-Claude KAMWENUBUSA demonstrates passion to empower and inspire people to realize their potential to bring about positive change wherever they are, everywhere they go and at any time. He is Burundi young entrepreneur Coordinator of Young African Leader at the President’s Forum (YAL), Co-Founder a Better Community for All Burundi (ABC4ALL/BURUND), E-volunteer at the United Nations Volunteer Services (UNV) and to NABUUR.COM Foundation. He is also President Founder Association pour la Solidarité et l’Assistance Socio-Sanitaire (ASASS-BURUNDI) not profit since 2006. His has over 5 years of working experience Socio-economic development sector, using internet and ICTs, facilitating youth network as Burundi Country Coordinator for Network of African Youth for Development (NAYD).
In 1997 developed idea of creating an academic program.
In 2006-December 2008: Elected (two times) National Focal Point for Global Youth Coalition On AIDS (GYCA) in USA.
In 2009-2010: Worked on a project “BURUNDI UNIVERSITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR ASASS-BURUNDI TO CREATE TERIMBERE UNIVERSITY OF BURUNDI (UTEBU)” in collaboration with PH.D and Lecturers in Burundi and international supporters through e-services and ICTs usage.
Currently he is working as Coordinator JUSCITREAL HOUSE and facilitating communication in JEANCKA UNIVERSITY, COLLEGE STUDENTS TREAINING AND RESEARCHERS CAPACITY STRENGTHENING PROGRAM. He is also a student in private university of Burundi.
Furthermore he is alumni at DiploFoundation in Internet Governance, Capacity Building on ICTs policy and Research for Developing countries, Africa, Caribbean and Pacific programme (AGCBP10) and has diploma to the basic and advanced courses.
Areas of his special importance to this study include “The deployment of e-commerce platform and software with applications relevant to multi-services that allows local entrepreneurs to engage in trade activities within rural and urban communities of Burundi and other developing countries”
He is also interested by the promotion of Youth & Women participation in creation of employment, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), police reforms, connectivity requirement in rural areas to improve live hood income generation for groups and individuals, access to information, regulatory reforms, and legislative and e-volunteering, Consultation & mentorship, graphic design, Acting/Film & arts entertainment.
He speaks and writes native Kirundi, French Fluent, Swahili Fluent, English very good and other African languages.
