About me
Since I was born in my small village in North Darfur State and the journey of my lifelong learning road has been started , with our all bad and good local customs , traditions , and habits extending to khalwa , primary school , secondary school and then my University study which opens my mind toward new world and interests , with full of independence , self exploration , work , volunteer and gaining experiences in all parts of the community studies, public health, sexual, reproductive and child health mainly HIV/AIDS and health services in conflict and post conflict areas.
Working with profit and nonprofit\'s projects, which are involved in different aspects of society, is attracting me. I believe that I should increase my experience via learning with work .
My Name is Hani Mohammed Ibrahim, 27, El Fasher, Sudan
Hani has over three years of experience working in the nonprofit sector and the ministry of health in Sudan as a medical doctor. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Shandi, Sudan in 2008.
Hani was the Medical Director of Elbadrain Charity Organization (ECO), which is a charitable nonprofit voluntary agency, It’s basically target water, sanitation, health education, agricultural, Child and the mother\'s health, and public health programs in the most vulnerable areas particularly in Darfur. He also joined Reproductive and Child Health Research Unit (RCRU) in University of Medical Sciences and Technology as Office Research Assistant internship .Hani Worked as medical officer in the Sudan Ministry of Health at Umm Bakhita Obst &Gynae Hospital and he was responsible for all activities in the hospital from out PT clinic, emergency room, refer clinic, elective and emergency Obs-Gynae conditions, teaching session, staff training and PMTCT center management in the hospital.He also worked as apart of National Sudanese Service as medical officer in Sudan Ministry of Health at El Fasher Military Hospital dealing with victims from conflict and post-conflict areas in North Darfur State. Hani’s professional interests are in the areas of sexual, reproductive health, HIV/AIDS treatment and community health services. He has acquired trainings and certificates in these subject areas from the Sudan National AIDS Program (SNAP), and online research centers such as Global Health and Learning Center .He started a distance learning Training Course in Sexual and Reproductive Health Research 2012 (May-November), at the Geneva Foundation for Medical Education and Research.Outside of professional interests, he enjoys, reading, playing the table tennis, internet and watching Real Madrid matches.
