About me
I have always had a soft spot in my heart for anyone or any being in need. I have been a supporter of Plan Canada for almost 30 years. I support three children in Africa: in Mali, Niger, and Sudan. In addition, I contribute to Kiva, a microeconomic lending organization, that lends my humble donations to needy entrepreneurs all over the world.
I am a staunch supporter for the abolition of puppy mills. I rescued a small dog from one of these places, and I have been trying to rehabilitate her for the past year, without success. I do not know if she will ever overcome the trauma to which her abusers subjected her.
I have very intense feelings over the injustices and maltreatments of and by fellow human beings. The causes I support are too numerous to list.
Last, but certainly not least, I have one other very important goal in my life: to tell my mother's story to the world, how she survived WWII , and how she saved lives at great risk to herself. The story of her great acts of heroism must survive after I am gone. I hope to start working on a book soon.
Through ITG, I trust I will find additional avenues to support the causes close to my heart. I believe ITG is an ideal instrument to improve every aspect of the human condition on this beautiful blue planet on which we live.
