About me
Life can sometimes get in our way and obfuscate reality. There are times when we feel that everything in life is just fine until we see pictures of child abuse in the news. It is inconceivable that the majority of us remain dormant in face of all child abuse images and child abuse stories filling many of the new sites on the internet.
We are confronted with pictures of child abuse, there is no way we can ignore the child abuse and neglect that many innocent children have to deal with on a daily basis. Pictures of child abuse must pierce through the heart of the most rock hard and callous of human beings. The lost innocence, the hidden pain and the helplessness that these children emanate must move each and every one of us to become involved in the protection and reconstructions of these taxed children.
Statistic shows that every ten seconds, a child abuse occurs. Furthermore, almost five children die every day as a result of child abuse. More than three out of four are under the age of 4. In the United States of America, there is over 3 million of reports of child abuse every year.
Here is the story of baby Peter Connelly. He was one year old when he died of child abuse. This story is one of the most shocking stories of child abuse.
Baby P father in law tortured him for is own sadistic pleasure. His own mother didn’t do anything to protect him. She preferred her son’s attacker (father in law). Here are some examples of what baby P had to support: His stepfather sliced his fingertips with a knife and pulled off his nails with pliers and he broke his back. Social services and doctors have also closed their eyes. Peter had the right to be loved and protected, yet no one intervened (social workers, doctors and police) in his terrible agony.
Where’s the world going? Did people lose their brain or what?
It is inconceivable to hurt an innocent child who just wants to be love.
It shouldn’t hurt to be a child, it should be fun.
My greatest wish is that no child should ever have to endure treatment like this.
