About me
I'm a native of Juiz de Fora ( Brazil), but living in Sao Paulo for 33 years, i am partner in Sysgen Tecnologia (www.sysgen.com.br), a software developer and systems integrator. Sysgen’s expertise in object orientation has spawned development tools devised to reduce the distance between the formal modeling process and the executable code. Its leading product, Celero, is a language-independent code generator that can be taught to generate code in any programming language, as long as it is based on text files.
At age 18 I've decided that I wanted to be near electronic equipment, so went to the mall and got my first job, as a stereo-systems installer. Four years later, I was in charge of the first computer department in a photo shop in São Paulo. Went on to hold several similar positions in many retail stores until 1990, when with a partner, decided to start a company, Lan Designers, selling a database product called Clarion. Lan Designers became more network and infrastructure oriented, left the database business behind, and in 1996 received the "Best Systems Integrator Award" from Computerworld. After selling his shares in Lan Designers, in 2003, became part owner of Sysgen.
I do also love music, and photography, with which I was professionally involved with in my younger years, as an assistant photographer.
Academic background includes studies in Information Systems Analysis, but mainly self-taught. I Have a special interest in Philosophy, Ocultism, Theology and Electronics. Do read novels and science fiction and also like Sci-Fi TV series and movies. I have quite an eclectic taste in music that only excludes the Brazilian popular genres Axé, Pagode and Sertaneja.
