About me
I do not know what exactly to say. I am Samuel Sandy and i am 19 years old. Over the years i have developed the passion to work with people who are often termed as less fortunate. I am presently conducting a country wide excercise teaching people about using computers. I have been teaching in Georgetown, East Coast, Mahaicony, and Coretyne Berbice. I also have established an organisation known as 'MAW-KAYA' which means Make a Way for Kids and Young Adults. This is a centre where we provide free lunch and tutoring for students who are weak in schools. We also work with other Governmental and Non Governmental orgaisation to provide somehting substantial for those in need.I have worked with the Guyana Red Cross, to provide tutoring and HIV/ AIDS workshop with people of my community and neighbouring communities. Presently i am Working towards a conference in Berbice to educate people about domestic violence. I have taught at many schools voluntary and has organised other friends to do the same. WE are planning to expand on what we are doing. The only thing that brings me much joy and happiness is to be of service to the people out there. I love to see people smile and be proud of who they are. I believe that we all are equipped with the necessities to be of service to their brothers and sisters. It is not about me but always about the people. I am also a Second year studen tof the University of Guyana, doing a degree in English.
