My greatest fear is to live in a world where ignorance reigns supreme, where one's exploits are outweighed by another's lack of interest. I fear this world, but I hold hope in my fellow youth, because no matter how many times we say it, it's meaning is in no way diminished: we are the future. It is up to us to make it happen and it is through our ideas and our determination to not let others do our bidding for us that we can truly change the world. No one can do this alone, but by the same token, nothing can be done without the hard work of individuals like you or me. Many people call the youth idealistic, but I take this with pride, because without innovation or new ideas, society will not progress. I just hope that in some way or another I can do my part, to the best of my abilities...
