Current Position: Logistics and Administrative Manager
Being a member of country Logistics, Procurement, Assets Management and Administration team of IRC Pakistan program, my responsibilities includes the following:
Procurement:
• Ensure effective implementation of procurement system
• Handling procurement of various donors i.e. Europe Aid, USAID
• Prequalification and maintenance of database of reliable suppliers
• Tracking of outstanding Purchase Requests (PRs) and Purchase Orders (Pos).
Warehouse/Storage:
• Assurance of the tracking of the commodities and monthly spot checks of stocks
• Ensure the suitable and managed storage facility and their security.
• Maintenance of updated list of items in storage and conducted physical counts

Transport Management:
• Efficient delivery of goods and supplies to the various field offices.
• Management of transport fleets, keep vehicles are in proper working condition.
• Preparation of monthly reports on fuel usage, mileage and vehicle expenses.
Asset Management:
• Proper tracking of movement of IRC Pakistan assets
• Maintenance and servicing of assets and scheduling for maintenance.
• Perform quarterly physical check of assets and updated records of transfer and disposal

Fleet Management/IT/Security/General Administration/Liaison Duties:
• Verification and monitoring of the invoices for payments.
• Liaison with government agencies for Visas and tax exemptions.
• Orientation to new staff members about the logistics procedures and policies.

November 2003-March 2008: Islamic Relief Worldwide, Pakistan Program
Position: Administration Officer-Logistics

Being Administration Officer-Logistics with Islamic Relief my responsibilities were include the following:

Procurement:
• Purchased, tendered, negotiated and receipt materials, goods, services and contracts
• Managed procurements of more than hundred million of goods, services, materials, medicines, non food items during South Asian Earthquake operations
• Procurements as per guidelines of the donors and kept updated records

Logistics:
• Looked after logistics as focal person for Islamic Relief Worldwide.
• Represented IR in UN Logistics cluster meetings.
• Supervised the ware houses and made Transportation arrangements of relief goods

Assets management:
• Tagging of new assets and quarterly physical verification the assets
• Provided orientation to the field administration about the fixed assets management.
• Updated Fixed Assets Register and recommended disposal of the sold/obsolete items

General administration/Fleet Management/Security/Liaison:
• Overall looked after the administration activities for all area, field offices and field units
• Management of Fleet, Roster preparation, POL management and Liaison duties.
• Overall Security overview, planning, coordination meetings etc.
• Liaison with security companies and mobile companies and hotels for the services
• Supervised the personal charges reports, vehicle management, overtime preparation and vehicle cross charging reports.
• Contributed effectively in implementation of HR policies, budget development etc
