About me
My name is Spencer Rasmussen and I call Kelowna, BC home. I am currently attending my first year of post-secondary at The University of British Columbia. This summer I will be embarking on a 10 week project in Debre Sina, Ethiopia with Youth Challenge International. The project will engage in a range of activities including alternative basic education, youth vocational training, “training of the trainer,” community event planning, and English literacy teaching.

When I’m not preparing for this trip, I’m involved on campus in groups such as Oxfam UBC and Common Energy (a climate change action organization). I also enjoy playing the guitar, running, hiking, and reading.
