About me
Shahnawaz Chachar brings with him around 8 years of work experience in area of human rights, democratization, interfaith harmony and peace building. He earned his MA sociology degree in 2006 from Shah Abdul Lateef University of Khairpur Sindh. He has recently leaded a project to promote peace and interfaith harmony in Sindh Province, where his project team has established ADR alternate dispute resolving mechanism in 300 villages. Shahnawaz has worked with national and international organizations in Pakistan, his work experience also includes over 3 years of experience on governance monitoring and elections observation and electoral violence in Pakistan, and he has good experience of working with state institutions and political parties. Shahnawaz has recently developed his skills in media and adopted video documentary filmmaking and photography to organize and visualize the gross root nonprofits’ actions.
