About me
I am currently working as the Operations Manager at TakingITGlobal. It's great to be part of the Toronto team!
I studied Communications, Culture and Information Technology at Queen's University, and took courses in Psychology and Film at the University of British Columbia.
Being interested in development and relief I returned to school and completed Humber College's International Project Management Program in 2005.
As one of the founding group members of Amnesty International at Humber College I helped to organize the Reel Realities Film Festival.
Last year I was a Project Manager at a school for special needs children in Barra de Navidad, Mexico for the International Institute for Child Rights and Development.
I am interested in issues such as youth empowerment, micro-finance, children's rights, HIV AIDS, the environment, peace building, education, immigrant services, and indigenous people's rights.
In my free time I volunteer with MSF and spend time with friends. I enjoy trail running, snowboarding and rock climbing. I'm also into salsa dancing and love to travel and learn about other cultures.
