Hey!
I'm Sandrine,i'm 19 and i live in Melbourne Australia!But i am an Island girl!!!I was born in a country called Sri Lanka. My family moved to Australia when I was six weeks!!!
I'm currently completing a teaching degree at Melbourne University.
In the Summer of 2007 i did go back to Sri Lanka,to complete a month long teaching project in Sri Lanka's largest orphanage in Pitakotte, Colombo. In the Summer of 2009-2010 i hope to go back, but teach in a more rural area this time!
I went with a company called i-to-i so if you are interested check there website out!!(NOTE:You do not get paid to teach, it's a goodwill kinna thing!!)

It’s been a while since I was 19 and first joined! I am 22 now! -Yet I still have that very same passion and enthusiasm about making a difference in our world :)
True to my word I completed another voluntary English teaching project, once again in my country of birth. This time it was in a rural location which provided to be a challenging yet rewarding experience. You can follow my blog which has a daily pictorial record of my teaching adventures in Sri Lanka on my second voluntary project.

And yes I have continued to pursue further studies and will be completing my masters by the end of next year if all goes well!
