About me
Hello!
I am the TIGed Professional Development Program Assistant at TakingITGlobal, and I am very excited to be a part of such a great organization.
In addition to my work at TIG, I am a student in the International Development Project Management graduate program at Humber College here in Toronto. I have a BA from Queen's University in Global Development studies. I also had the opportunity to study globalization and development at Fudan University in Shanghai, China for one semester. My time in China gave rise to my interest in urbanization and migration issues, as well as the impact of economic growth and globalization on the environment and society. I am interested in sharing these ideas and participating in dialogue about these topics.
I have some experience working on literacy and health education projects in China, Ghana and also in Northern Ontario Aboriginal communities. I love to travel and I hope that I will always have the opportunity to explore and expand my understanding of my relationship with my fellow global citizens.
