About me
I was born on 5th June which is also World Environment Day and thus I feel that it was pre-ordained that I should become an eco-warrior and work to save Mother Earth. I was the youngest international participating delegate at Rio+20 , where I received an award from UNCCD for my essay on stopping land degradation. On my return from Rio+20, I founded GREEN HOPE UAE to carry forward the Rio legacy amongst the children and youth of the region. Fighting climate change, spreading the message of sustainability, stopping land degradation are some of my key focus areas. I have now been appointed by UNEP as the Global Coordinator of their Major Group for Children and Youth after being nominated by TakingIT Global.
