About me
I have lived on an Indigenous community in central Australia for 4 years, I have seen and am still seeing the struggles indigenous youth are facing in a world and society which has no or little understanding of the culture and way of life these youth are living in. I am a youth grant maker and committee member for the foundation for Young Australian. I liked to think of myself as an artist, I enjoy all of the arts fields, painting, drawing, drama, music, poetry. I am a youth activist, and I am FOR the environment, reconciliaction and do not tolerate racism one bit. I enjoy mixing with people of all ages, races, cultures and religions. I don't see how people can hate and judge a person or people for the colour of their skin, religion, culture or way of life. I love individuals for who they are not what they are. I like learning new ways to live a life and experience different things that are out side my comfort zone. I like to be out there in the world, enjoying life to its fullist and I don't believe racism, sexism, or any of the other -isms will let a person enjoy their life at all. It's time for a change in this world, so we all need to work together to acheive that change, we as young people need to make a stand to show the leaders in this world what we want for OUR future and I am sure it is not war, hatred, sickness, disease and discomfort in a world in which we all belong.
