About me
I graduated in Political Science from York University. My passion for human rights, youth and international development began while I was an active Model United Nations Participant and this led me to intern at the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) as their first Youth Co-ordinator. I have also served as Secretary to NGO Committee on Youth to the United Nations. I was selected as a Member and Chairperson of a Youth Advocacy Team for Civil Society Mid-Term World Report on the Culture of Peace in 2005.

I have served as a member on the Youth Co-ordinating Committee for the Toronto XVI International AIDS Conference and was the Co-Chair of the Youth Pre-conference organized by the Toronto YouthForce and the International AIDS Conference Youth Programme 2006.

I have had experience in communications, public relations, event planning, marketing, fundraising & advocacy.

I have previously worked for Global Youth Coalition on HIV/AIDS, Canada Africa Partnership on AIDS & UNICEF Canada.

I enjoy travelling as I like to explore new cultures, cuisines and languages. Also, I am fond of reading, yoga, swimming, watching films and documentaries and learning dance.
