About me
Christina is passionate about supporting youth to become leaders and make positive changes they would like to see in their own communities. From a young age, Christina has been passionate about social justice and addressing poverty. She has worked with the public and non-profit sectors on youth employment, business development and food security projects. She co-founded BiaSHEara in 2016, a multi-faceted enterprise that showcased stories of Canadian women entrepreneurs of East African descent and involved youth in documentary production and networking events. She is currently a youth policy maker with the Ontario Council for International Cooperation, where she advocates for youth voices in policies and advancing SDGs. She is excited to contribute her lived and work experiences, and engage with youth leaders and youth advocates to strengthen work that has a tangible impact to young people in Canada and globally.
