About me
Chima brings five years experience in the nonprofit sector. He was born 23 years ago as the last male child of the family. As long ago as he could remember he has always been fascinated by the natural world, which has not left him but deepened over the years thus resulting to his love for fellow youths, leadership empowerment and entrepreneurship. Having nurtured this passion, he decided in 2005 while an undergraduate, to join Crafties Youth Initiative (a subsidiary of Chukwuemeka Vincent Chukwuemeka (CVC) Foundation)- a not-for-profit, non-governmental youth organization founded to implement MDGs, address gender issues, create leadership and entrepreneurship empowerment and combat HIV/AIDS pandemic by creating awareness using ICT as a tool. Chima currently serves in this nonprofit sector as the Program assistant. He is an active volunteer to Seeds of Peace, USA and an abstract reviewer to e-India digital learning 2008. He is an ardent volunteer who encourages young people to participate in nation building through active volunteering. He also participated in the one year National Youth Service Corps Program for Nigerian graduates where he served in Government Secondary School, Enugu as a teaching assistant in the mathematics department. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology in 2008 from Imo state University, Owerri.
