Hello everyone!

My name is Catherine,
I am 20 years old and studying in the Education program at Mcgill University (Montreal, Quebec). After graduation I plan on teaching around the world in various developing countries. I believe that a good education is a strong starting point and foundation to the growth of a country. Through education individuals can learn different ways they can contribute to their community, facilitating the progression and prosperity of the country.

***Volunteer Work In Guyana***

On June 3rd I will be leaving for Guyana for 5 weeks where I will be teaching some of the locals how to read. I am excited to embark on this journey, I am sure it will be a life changing experience. In order to cover expenses, Youth Challenge International encourages its volunteers to raise the money. Any amount is welcome and contributes to my fundraising goal.
