About me
I am a passionate young Tanzanian lady (25), holding a Bachelor of Science (Economics) Project Planning and Management from Mzumbe University class of 2014. Currently working as the Coordinator of Pride of Being a Girl Program at Jane Goodall Roots and Shoots, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania where i helped design the program strategic plan and overseeing its implementation, i help planning and conduct training and manage relations with donors. Previously, I have volunteered with Youth of United Nations Association of Tanzania as National UN Clubs Deputy Secretary General and later as National UN Clubs Coordinator. My passion has always been on Youth's Social-Economic Development, International Relations and Gender and for that I was awarded a prestigious MILEAD and Vital Voices Fellowship as an emerging young women leader in Africa.
I love working with the community and young people and assist them in every way possible to realize their potentials and take charge of opportunities available, hence i was certified as Global Education: Intercultural Dimension educator by The Network University.
I enjoy sports and adventure and thus i play netball, swim and hike all hills and mountains on my free time, my eagerness to learn makes me enjoy reading novels all the time.
My motto is, “We live only once, but once is enough if lived right.”
