About me
I work at the Bali Institute for Global Renewal, supporting the planning and coordination of the institute’s high school and university programs in leadership, social entrepreneurship, and many other subjects.
After participating in a social entrepreneurship program in Bali offered by Northeastern University and run by the Bali Institute, I was motivated to find an opportunity that would allow me to both introduce others to Bali’s wonderful culture and also offer something back to the island. The Bali Institute was the perfect fit, as they have strong commitments to responsible travel and emphasizing the indigenous wisdom of Balinese culture.
I hold a B.A. in International Affairs from Northeastern University and come from a background in agricultural sustainability. I have worked at several American non-profit organizations promoting access to healthy foods and environmental and consumer awareness. My favorite kind of work involves community outreach and engagement. I love the challenge of learning the Indonesian language, and working with the local Balinese community has been a pleasure for me!
