About me
Born and raised in Canada, I moved across the Atlantic 3 years ago and settled into a life in London… until this past November when I set out for my new home in Hong Kong. The past few years have been an exciting nomadic experience with travels taking me across East Asia and Europe.
Film is a lifelong passion and was the focus of my university studies. But after completing an M.A. in Film Studies I decided to take a left turn into the great unknown and see what else was out there. I have worked in a diverse range of fields – everything from Magazine Publishing to IT to the Probation Service.
“If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything” is a saying that I live by. From the time I was a kid I’ve had a great interest (and opinions!) on human rights, world politics and social issues. I believe it is important to think about the world live in, and the world we want to live in.
I love reading, writing and traveling. But much of my time is devoted to exploring Hong Kong. It is like no other place on earth – a fascinating and unique mix of cultures – and I feel lucky to have the opportunity to experience it!
