My interest in global issues stemmed from my travels. I caught the travel bug from my globe trotting parents. I enjoy being immersed in different cultures and learning as much as I can about them. Nothing is more educational than learning the worldviews of people who have grown up in different backgrounds and cultures. I've been fortunate enough to travel, work, or volunteer in Latin America, Europe, Africa, and around North America.

My passion is in global health in the area of policy. I am driven to create positive change, particularly in areas where the pressures of the social determinants of health are present. Hi TakingITGlobal Community!
