Living and working in Toronto, I am passionate about making a difference in the community. I have learned that you don't necessarily have to go overseas to have an impact - changing the world starts at home.
One way that we can do that is be a mentor. Mentorship has been proven to keep kids in school and out of trouble.
I work for a not-for-profit that actually matches at-risk and newcomer kids with dedicated and FUN volunteer mentors.
