 About Me |
Zajel is the Arabic word for the well known carrier pigeon, used during many years as an important mean of communication, It represents the way how we see those participating in our exchange programs: people that will deliver a message of peace and solidarity across the world.
Zajel is an international self-financing, non-profit, educational program mainly supported by Partner Organizations.
The Zajel Youth Exchange Program came as the result of a dream. The dream was to develop an exchange program that would assemble youth from diverse backgrounds to interact with Palestinians, and to learn about Palestinian society and political reality.
