iam ayoung and enthusiastic african, who is proud of being an african and would do all that is possible to bring change in somalia, africa and in particular somalia. Dispite the long running civil war in somalia, somalis are faced with two wars-the one acknowledged by the international community which is the civil war and the unheard off and unseen one which is the war on HIV/AIDS. Iam involved with the civic societies that are present in somalia to educate the community about the "enemy" that is HIV/AIDs and that is always my passion. The awareness of the HIV/AIDS scourge in Somalia is regarded as myth and not a reality but with presence of all the hard,discouraging and un bearable environment iam trying my best to creat awareness in my local area and the regions i can reach. Iam requesting through the abled hands of the international community mainly the youth who are the leaders of today to join hands in the noble war on AIDS. Thanks
