About Me

I am a national out of the Spice Isle of Grenada (beautiful island hurricane Ivan destroyed in 2004). I am a compassionate, dedicated and determine individual involved in Youth Development for the last four & a half (41/2) years. I guide my work base on equality, democracy, participation and empowerment.I have established and worked with several youth organization within the Spice Isle over the last four years. I served as leader of those organization on consecutive terms. My capacities to serve young people waranteed high level of the respect from the membership of those organizations and the desire of both the government and opposition for my expertises.

Base on my experiences, vision for Grenada's youth and the level of respect, encouragement and support recieved from others, my qualification and certification were a major concern. I therefore took the opportunity to seek the necessary certification in continuing my studies in Trinidad & Tobago.

My mission in Trinidad & Tobago is to complete a Diploma Course in Youth in Development Work under the Commonwealth Youth Programme. All countries in the Commonwealth have agreed that successful completion of the thirteen (13) modules of this programme will be recognized as the official qualification for working in the youth service in each government. This means that on successful completion, Diploma awardees can seek work in the youth service of any Commonwealth country where employment conditions permit.

At my arrival in Tobago, I have been actively invloved in diffrent development initiatives with youth of Tobago. I was appointed as the Youth Coordinator of Roxborough Police Youth Club in February 2005. This position is paid under the Tobago House of Assembly Department of Youth Affairs.

The Roxborough Police Youth Club is the number one, most active and effective youth service organization in Trinidad & Tobago. This organization captured the award for the most outstanding youth organization over the last three (3) years in Tobago. Records has proven that this organization has and continue to impact greatly on the lie and livihood of individuals within the communities of Tobago.My job description is to coordinate the implementation of the organizations programme.

My involvement in Youth Development has and continues to equip me in delivering effectively for young people.
