About Me |
Accountant by profession,Young with an eye to the future. Am Also studying project management to effectively participate in youth projects for the benefit of young people. Involved in all aspects of activism that inspire and have positive impact on young people's impact on young peoples' knowledge, altitude and behavior on issues of Reproductive Health, HIV/Aids, Sustainable Development, ICT(Information and Communication Technology) Youth participation and Human Rights. Currently National Co-ordinator for Action Youth Zambia, formerly Operation Youth Zambia. currently working on Youth Activism Incubator Project and Community Mobile Exchange Project and Youth Source'. As the names of the projects suggest, they are aimed at the disadvantaged children and youths in their respective communities, uninformed youths, those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS, out of school youths, especially those who can latter inform others and already existing community and national HIV/Aids initiatives. The projects are community youth-oriented and community centred that aims to facilitate dialogue, strengthen communication among and between young people, learning and sharing, youth partnerships, communication for advocacy, youth participation and communication on HIV/AIDS and Reproductive Health initiatives. The project aims to achieve this by using approaches interesting to young people, collaborative, participative and suited to different contexts and situations in various communities. The projects, in the context of HIV/Aids are underpinned by he principals of Youth Empowerment, Youth Participation, Equity and Local Ownership.
