 About Me |
I am a university student in Ottawa Ontario. I have a keen interest in youth engagement, development of poverty-stricken communities, and practicing medicine.
I am a Program Coordinator with Child and Youth Friendly Ottawa (CAYFO); specifically I coordinate video productions for For Youth By Youth (FYBY) News - Ottawa's first and only youth-run news media.
I am an executive member of Students Aiding Village Empowerment (SAVE), a student-run group that is organizing a development project in a village in Northern India. We approach development from a holistic viewpoint, encompassing education, health, employment, culture, and all community needs.
One day I hope to become a physician, and apply my position and skills to community engagement and development stuff.
